PRINECT IMAGE CONTROL:
Prinect Image Control is a colour measuring system for monitoring quality outside the press. Prinect Image Control determines the deviations from the predefined reference values and automatically tells the operator what adjustments are needed. These adjustments are approved and sent online to the press, which then regulates the ink zones in all the printing units simultaneously. Prinect Image Control reliably monitors quality, facilitating steady and continuous production in prepress and press of the highest standards of quality.
STOCHASTIC:
Stochastic halftone screening helps deliver more vibrant and consistent colour and greater image fidelity, and more consistent color. Stochastic also holds detail better in images and preserves the integrity of text, knockouts, and line work. All this technology produces your marketing image with a more "photogenic" look!
SOFT PROOFING:
Soft proofing is simply a mechanism that allows you to view your proof on your computer monitor rather than on a conventional hard proof that would be sent to you through a courier.
PRINTREADY:
Printready is our pre-press workflow element in Heidelberg's Prinect family of production, colour control and management integrated networking systems. This move into Printready takes us forward in technology. Working in a total PDF environment, Printcrafters can transfer files and data much faster which enables us to operate within a JDF framework and to link production and business processes in the future. We already use Prepress Interface to take data between pre-press and the pressroom in a closed loop of control.
